Often there are instances where individual, solar powered bollard lights are not an ideal fit due to shade or partial shade at the installation site. This could be from buildings, structures, landscaping or tree canopies. It's a known fact that a solar panel won't work properly in the shade, For locations where there isn't any grid power, shading just creates a further complication. Our BC15 solar bollard light kit helps to solve this problem because it uses a single solar power station system combining both the solar panel, battery and controller within one compact unit. This allows the installer to run one low-voltage cable to one or more of the bollard light fixtures, as necessary. This can be individual cables or daisy-chained into a group. The objective is to locate the solar panel where it can receive maximum exposure irrespective of where the bollard fixtures need to be. Using low-voltage, 24V DC cabling makes the installations easier than running 120V AC power and provides an allowance of up to 300' distance. Typically, the project can be completed without the need for an electrician. This kit can be ordered as per the end-user requirements. Multiple bollard lights can be included and connected together to create one system. We offer a choice of bollard height and LED power. The power station can be preprogrammed to operate as required with single, dual timed or multi-timed operating modes, and the option for dimming for any duration and at any percentage during any of the modes, This allows maximum flexibility. The solar power system is a neat, compact unit. No need for lots of hardware, separate components or a separate battery enclosure. This kit is supplied with everything you should need in one simple package. It operates at a safe 24V DC and features a monocrystalline solar panel. We offer a choice of solar panel sizes and wattages depending on the bollard fixture quantity, total LED power, and hours or times of operation. That's because this kit is designed and sized accordingly taking several factors into account. Within the solar panel is a very high capacity lithium battery pack that is also sized accordingly. It's housed within a slim, weather resistant enclosure mounted to the underside of the solar panel. The solar power unit includes a tenon mount which is suitable for the top of a 3" OD pole or pipe. A surface mount bracket is available instead by special order. The kit is pre-programmed prior to dispatch. Options are configured by Solar Illuminations because they are subject to the load on the system, geographic location of the site, and other factors. Supplied as a complete stand-alone solution. A pre-installed, high capacity lithium battery is included.
The battery is housed within a weatherproof compartment attached to the rear of the solar panel.

The 320W solar panel is fitted with a 520AH, 6,240WH battery.
The 240W solar panel is fitted with either a 135.2AH, 3,244.8WH or a 67.6AH, 1,622.4WH battery.
The 200W solar panel is fitted with either a 260AH, 3,120WH or a 135AH, 1,622.4WH battery.
The 160W solar panel is fitted with either a 260AH, 3,120WH or a 135AH, 1,622.4WH battery.
The 115W and 100W solar panels are fitted with a 62AH, 748.8WH battery.
The 75W solar panel is fitted with a 52AH, 624WH battery.
The 50W solar panel is fitted with a 41.6AH, 499.2WH battery.
The battery size and capacity is determined by several factors includes the geographic location of the installation site, the quantity of bollards, the total LED power and the hours or times of operation.
The system has built-in charge control regulation with over-charge and discharge protection.

Low voltage cable for connecting the bollard fittings to the solar power system is not included but can be supplied.
Cable can be ordered, as required and is charged per foot.
Installation
A choice of mounting hardware is available to suit most applications.
A tenon is supplied allowing installation onto the top of a 3" (76mm) OD round pole or pipe.
A tenon adaptor is available as an option for other pole diameters.
An optional surface mount bracket is available by special order.
Notes
This product is a special order and is non-returnable except in the event of a fault (during its warranty period) when the product, once returned will be repaired or replaced. The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
