This 4W LED light fixture has an output of 360 lumens (equivalent to approximately 75W) and typically illuminates dusk till dawn. The fixture incorporates a built-in swivel bracket, an on/off switch that when in the ‘on’ position allows automatic light activation. It has am integral (replaceable) lithium battery, and a choice of 6, 7, or 10 Watt solar panel which also has a built-in U-shape swivel bracket. This outdoor solar sign light kit can illuminate a sign up to approximately 8' x 6'. The light fixture and solar panel can be installed on almost any solid surface. An optional ground spike (stake) is available as part FL01. For pole mounting the light and/or solar panel, you can purchase our FL12 bracket for the fixture or our FL13 bracket for the solar panel.

We offer a 6 watt, 7 watt or 10 watt solar panel with this sign light kit. The higher the wattage of the solar panel, the more likely you are to get the maximum illumination time of 12 hours. A higher wattage panel does not extend the maximum amount of time the light will stay on for, and it will not make the light brighter. Higher wattage solar panels are also better for locations where there is limited sunshine. Select a lower wattage solar panel for applications where illumination duration is not critical or where the light will only be used upon demand or for less lengthy duration.

Solar Panel
The solar panel is fitted with approximately 9’ of cable/wire, which is pre-plugged and simply plugs into the socket on the floodlight.
Solar panel is included with a fold-out U-shape mounting bracket.
Choice of solar panel wattage: 6 watt, 7 watt or 10 watt.
Select a higher wattage for locations where there is limited sunshine, and/or demand maximum illumination duration.
A lower wattage solar panel can be selected for applications that receive a reasonable or high level of sunshine and/or the light is used upon demand or for a shorter illumination time.

Installation
Easy to install almost anywhere.
Designed for upward illuminating a sign, not for downlighting or lighting a sign from the above.
May be wall mounted or ground mounted. Use a concrete paving slab for ground mounting if no surface exists.
Can clamp directly to the round pole, possibly at any height.
For uplighting from the ground, we recommend using our ground spike kit (not supplied). Use one or two optional ground spikes product code FL01.
For attaching the floodlight directly to a round post, round pole or flag pole we recommend using our clamp attachment kit product code FL02 or FL12.
For attaching the solar panel directly to a round post, round pole or flag pole we recommend using our optional panel clamp kit product code FL13.

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
