This solar panel pole mount kit consists of a galvanized coupling and a 3" schedule 40/80 (3.5" OD) steel cross arm brackets that enables you to mount a solar panel array onto a pole or pipe (typically 4" OD schedule 40 pipe). It can attached to other diameters using an optional tenon adaptor which is available by special order.

Designed for two solar panels.
Suitable to attach to the top of a round pole or post.
Ideal for attaching to a vertical 4" schedule 40 (4.5" OD) steel pipe.
Select the size required for the length or width of your solar panel (38"~72" version or 72"~96").
Your solar panels would be mounted in portrait orientation.
Mount one solar panel with a total area of up to 50 square feet and a frame thickness between 1.18" and 2.0".
Suitable for wind speed up to 150 MPH and snow load up to 100 PSF.
Maximum post height of 6' above grade.
Tilt angle adjustable from 10° to 60°, per engineering (0° to 85° possible).
Some wind speeds and snow loads require a concrete filled vertical post and/or schedule 80 pipe for the horizontal and vertical sections.
The 3" schedule 40/80 (3.5" OD) steel horizontal beam must be a minimum of 5" longer than twice the width of the solar panels.
Vertical pole/pipe is not included.
