Solar Illuminations offers a range of MPPT charge controllers that use the latest and fastest technology. They intelligent charge controllers maximize the energy harvested, driving the energy to achieve full charge in the shortest time possible. This increased performance promotes battery health and extending battery life.
The 75V/10A, 100V/15A & 100V/20A charge controller options include built-in load control. This allows illumination times ranging from dusk to dawn, until x hours after sunset, and x hours after sunset and x hours before sunrise. Dimming options are available for two or three increment time periods; an optional dimming cable is required. Please verify that the load (light) is a dimmable if you plan on using this feature. The charge controller will be preprogrammed by us to the setting requested by the customer at the time of purchase. For the freedom to make changes to the illumination time settings in the future, purchase a “Smart MPPT” charge controller to reprogram at any time by using your smartphone. This component is designed for use with a solar energy system only and not for use with any other system or application. Our “Smart MPPT” charge controllers have built-in Bluetooth that allows you to connect to the charge controller using a smart phone or tablet. This allows you adjust various settings in the controller, and allows you to access the 30-day performance history stored within the unit. This 30 day history stores data including solar yield, battery status and load consumption (if the charge controller has built-in load control). If you do not select a “Smart MPPT” you can purchase an optional Bluetooth dongle (CC05) which connects to the port fitted on the charge controller, and offers the same features as the built-in Bluetooth option. The 100V/30A, 100V/50A & 150V/35A charge controllers do not have built-in load control, but a remote relay can be added to the charge controller to allow for this feature. We suggest contacting our sales team if this is something you would like to acquire.
IMPORTANT: In the notes/comments section during the check out process, please specify how you would like the light function on the charge controller to be programmed. Also please specify whether the controller needs to be programmed to 12V or 24V. If you do not specify, your order will be delayed until we are provided with this information.
