SF05 Solar Motion Sensor Security Light

The latest in security lighting. The SF05 solar LED motion activated security floodlight features two powerful LED lamps which can be adjusted up, down, left or right, up to 270 degrees. So you can project the light where you need it. A compact, neat, all-in-one solution so it's perfect for a variety of different residential and light commercial applications.

This unique, solar powered fixture includes an adjustable 5W solar panel which allows tilt and rotation. It feature 3 different operational modes which you can select at the touch of a button. The modes to choose from are on at dusk and 20% output with 100% output upon motion detection. Or, 100% output after dusk upon motion detection. Or, on at dusk at 20% output continuously. Installation is quick and easy. This fixture uses microwave technology instead of conventional passive infra-red for motion detection. Microwave detection is proven to be more efficient and reliable and less likely to react to false activations. The solar panel should be capable of receiving exposure and therefore, as with all solar panels, it should not be shaded during the day. This fixture can attach to almost any vertical or horizontal surface such as a wall, building, structure, or fence, etc. It could also be attached to the side or top of a post or pole. Total LED power is 5W using seventy two 3030 type LEDs providing a daylight white color temperature (6000K) and 648 lumens (180lm/W). A pre-installed lithium battery is included and should last many years. Color of product is black. Color of light output is white.

Great for use where electricity is unavailable or too difficult to install with the added bonus of no operating costs.

Performance
Internal microwave motion detector.
Up to approximately 180 degree / 40' (12M) detection range.
Mode switch is discretely located on the back of the fixture body.
Choice of 3 different operational modes.
Mode 1. On at dusk at 20% output and 100% output upon motion detection.

It can handle multiple activations per night but it's not designed for excessive or continuous use at 100% output all night long, every night.

Solar panel is best positioned facing as South as possible and typically at a 45 degree angle.

Installation
Wall/surface mounted with screws provided.
Easy to install almost anywhere.
Typical mounting height would be between 6' (2M) and 10' (3M).

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
