This weather-poof, vandal resistant indoor lighting system has several options for you to choose from. We offer this system with a choice of LED power. Select 5W, 10W, 15W, or 20W. This system is available with one or two light fixtures. Light fixtures are 2 ft long as standard, but 4 ft light fixtures are available upon request. Each fixture produces from 690 to 2,640 lumens depending on the chosen LED power. These fixtures are surprisingly bright, and many structures can be well lit with just one 5W or 10W fixture or a pair of 5W fixtures depending on the application and requirements. The LED color temperature can be selected by the user or installer using the internal dipswitch selector. Choose from warm white to daylight white (3,000k, 4,000k, or 5,000k). This system is supplied complete and includes the light fixture(s), two, large capacity, 12V AGM rechargeable batteries, a metal lockable battery enclosure, an MPPT charge controller, and a choice of solar panel along with standard mounting hardware. The comprehensive light control system allows for extensive configuration, including dynamic activation and optional dimming. Lighting activation is controlled by the charge controller and solar panel. The charge controller can be pre-programmed for automatic dusk to dawn illuminations or a choice of single or dual timed modes. As an option, it is also possible to incorporate one or more motion detectors into these systems. The solar panel and light fixtures are supplied with several feet of cable as standard, so they can be mounted away from the battery box if needed. Additional cord can be purchased as a custom order. The entire system is designed to be easily installed with pre-plugged cords and/or quick connectors. Color of product is gray. Color of other parts of the system is gray. Color of light output is white.

Can be used in most types of structures, such as bus shelters, cabins, sheds, workshops, storage areas, gazebos, pavilions, kiosks, summer houses, garages, arbors, yurts, shipping containers, covered mailboxes, or any other similar applications.
As this is a custom-built solution, it can be designed as per your requirements. This includes the nightly illumination time. The system can be designed and pre-programmed to automatically operate at dusk and turn off at dawn all year round. This could be up to 15 hours or more allowing for the longest night of the year (December 21st). Or the system can be designed and pre-programmed to automatically to operate on a single or dual timed mode for 8 hours total. A single timed mode would provide automatic illumination at dusk for x number of hours and then turn off. A dual timed mode would provide automatic illumination at dusk for x number of hours, then turn off, then turn back on again for x number of hours before dawn. Other timed options and configurations are available upon request. When placing an online order for an 8-hour program please specify the type of mode and hours of operation during checkout int he comments section.
Please note, the specifications of this solar indoor lighting systems are determined by several factors. These factors include the geographic location of the installation site, the total LED power (Wattage), and the total number of hours of operation. It's these factors that determine the solar panel wattage and the battery capacities and some of the other components required to create the entire system.

Battery Enclosure
Galvanized steel lockable battery enclosure will accommodate the rechargeable batteries and charge controller (padlock not included.)
Designed to conform to NEMA 3R and IP22 rating standards for Outdoor Enclosures. Offering protection against rain, snow, and sleet. Meets the requirements of UL 508 “Rainproof enclosures”.
The battery enclosure can be mounted on to the structure or to a pole with optional pole mount hardware, depending installation preference and battery capacity.
The battery box has pre-drilled holes to enable secure installation to a horizontal or vertical surface.

Solar Panel
Range of solar panel power available from 45W to 100W. More powerful panels available by special order.

Control Module
Supplied with a MPPT charge controller which automatically controls the solar panel power, battery charging and lighting function and operation.
The MPPT controller will improve energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers. Especially in the case of cold cloudy winter weather, when light intensity is changing continuously.
Offers full programmability of load output: dusk to dawn, multi-timed mode, and integrated diming (all standard features).
Intelligent battery management software is used to protect the battery from being excessively discharged. The controller will monitor the state of charge on the battery, and if needed, day by day slightly increase the load disconnect level (i. e. disconnect the load earlier) until the harvested solar energy is sufficient to recharge the battery to nearly the full 100% at least once a week. Allowing for the longest life possible from the batteries.
Pre-programmed software for load output, dusk to dawn lighting, single timed lighting, dual timed lighting, dimming option and the ability of interfacing with motion detection, where required.
This MPPT charge controller is programmed by Solar Illuminations as per your requirements and system ability.
Lighting control features illumination from dusk to dawn (where applicable), or on at dusk for X amount of hours then off, or on at dusk for X amount of hours, then off, then back on again for X amount of hours before dawn.
Dimming option (where applicable) allows the lighting to dim at any time during the illumination time.
The dimming option or any other illumination mode can be used in conjunction with motion activation (where applicable).
Dimming may be at any percentage from 0-100%.
Supports real time data monitoring, 30 day performance history, and user programmability from Apple or Android smartphones, tablets, etc. Use of this feature requires the optional MPPT Bluetooth Dongle.

Please Note:
This product is a special order and is non-returnable except in the event of a fault (during its warranty period) when the product, once returned will be repaired or replaced. The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge. Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice.
