This small solar street light is an economical LED lighting solution and is available with a choice of LED power from 10W to 25W and a choice of pole heights. Perfect for less demanding applications such as small streets, HOA's and smaller general open areas, etc. This system is now available in both a gray or black colored finish.
Don't let the price fool you, this is a somewhat scaled down version of our popular SL34 model but features similar components. This cost effective street light is ideal for anyone looking for lighting of around 1,850lm to 4,625lm because you have a choice of any LED power from 10W up to 25W. Other options available include a choice of pole heights, distribution patterns (Type I, II, III, IV or V), solar panel wattage, battery capacity and battery enclosures. The system is supplied complete. The powerful LED luminaire is fitted with multiple Philips Luxeon® T LEDs. This state-of-the-art lighting technology is capable of producing up to 185lm/W. No compromises with this system, an MPPT charge controller is a standard feature. It offers a choice of dusk to dawn, or a single timed mode (e.g. on at dusk for X amount of hours then off ) or a dual timed mode (on at dusk for X amount of hours, then off, then back on again for X amount of hours before dawn). In addition, dimming at any percentage and for any duration is a further options, as is the ability to add one or more motion detectors. You will not find any other solar powered street light system as complete as this, with so many features, anywhere near this price. Bluetooth is a nice optional feature with this system and only costs a little extra. It provides the ability to re-program the system, check history and view logs, etc. all from an app on your smartphone. Available with a choice of LED color temperatures from 2700k to 6500k and turtle friendly version too. Available in a choice of gray or black colored finish.

Post / Pole
A choice of a basic 15' (4.5M) pole or a heavy duty 20' (6M) galvanized steel pole is included.
The pole has a square flat base (flat plate) with pre-drilled holes for installation.
The square base of the pole is approximately 12.5" x 12.5" (320mm x 320mm).
Fixing bolts/anchors and templates are included.
Custom height poles are available by special order.

The pole diameter will vary depending upon the height. The 20' pole has a diameter of approx. 6" at its base decreasing down to approx. 3" at the top.
Typically the pole requires a concrete foundation up to about 1 cubic yard (3' x 3' x 3'). The location, wind factor and ground condition will affect the size of the foundation required.
Arm
Galvanized steel arm accommodates the light fixture.
Attaches directly to the street light pole.
Choice of arm length available.
Can be attached in any direction and at a choice of height on the pole.

Battery
24v DC systems use two 12v sealed lead acid, AGM or GEL type rechargeable batteries.
Battery type is deep cycle, marine grade.
Batteries are made in the USA.
Battery capacity is selection is subject to lamp power and illumination duration.
The 32 Amp/Hour AGM battery dimensions are approx. 7.75" x 5" x 7.25" (20cm x 13cm x 18.5cm) LxWxD.

Typical battery life is approximately 5 years subject to environmental factors and autonomy selection.
Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own.
By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
Periodic charging is always recommended when a product is not being used or when the solar panel is disconnected.
Higher capacity batteries may be required for more demanding applications and/or locations with lower insolation.
Battery Box
Galvanized steel lockable battery box will accommodate the rechargeable batteries. (Padlock not included.)
The battery enclosure can be mounted on to the pole or located at the base of the pole depending installation preference, pole selection, and battery capacity.
The battery box has pre-drilled holes to enable secure installation to a concrete pad.
For pole mounting, the battery enclosure includes mounting plates with slots for U-bolts or Stainless Steel Banding. (U-bolts and Stainless Steel Banding is not included.)

Solar Panel
The solar panel size and power required depends greatly on the installation location and customer’s requirements, please consult our engineers for specific solar power requirements.
Range of solar panel power avalible between 45W and 180W.
Solar panels can be supplied in a dual format (2 x 70w = 140w, 2 x 90w = 180w etc.).
Highly efficient monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar panel with aluminum frame, anti-aging, and encapsulated membrane.
Anti-reflective and anti-soiling surface reduces power losses from dirt and dust.
Certified to withstand high wind loads (340PSI) and snow loads (780PSI); and resistance to high salt and ammonia.
Typical solar panel life is approximately 20-25 years subject to environmental factors.
The dimensions of the solar panel can vary and is subject to the wattage and format supplied.
The solar panel(s) are supplied with steel support frame and T-bar pole mounting system with tenon that allows direct attachment to the top of the pole.
The mounting systems allows the solar panel(s) to be tilted to an appropriate angle determined by the geographic location of the installation site.
The solar panel(s) can be rotated (ideally to a southerly unobstructed view of the sky).
A more powerful solar panel may be required for more demanding applications and/or locations with lower insolation, please consult our engineers for specific solar power requirements.
Control Module
Supplied standard with the most advanced and sophisticated MPPT charge controller technology. The MPPT charge controller automatically controls the solar panel power, battery charging, and lighting function and operation.
Ultra fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT).
The MPPT charge controller is typically 30% more efficient than standard PWM controllers and 10% more efficient to most other MPPT controllers.
Additional efficiency for cloudy weather and during times of reduced sun radiation.
This controller features the very latest smart technology with intelligent battery management software is used to protect the battery from being excessively discharged.
The controller is sized to the system specifications with 10A and 15A versions available (subject to solar panel power and battery capacity).
This MPPT charge controller is programmed by Solar Illuminations as per your requirements and system ability.
Pre-programmed software for load output, dusk to dawn lighting, single timed lighting, dual timed lighting, dimming option and the ability of interfacing with motion detection, where required.
Lighting control features include illumination from dusk to dawn (where applicable), or on at dusk for X amount of hours then off, or on at dusk for X amount of hours, then off, then back on again for X amount of hours before dawn.
Dimming option (where applicable) allows the lighting to dim at any time during the illumination time.
The dimming option or any other illumination mode can be used in conjunction with motion activation (where applicable).
Dimming may be at any percentage from 1-99%.

Please note: Upon installation and power-up the controller goes into a 7 day evaluation mode where smart monitoring and configurations commence. Additional evaluation with self-managing adjustments may continue for up to 7 more days. This is all part of the smart feature that enables this intelligent controller to understand its use, the application, the surrounding environment and the current conditions. During this time some of its programmed features may differ temporarily. This is a perfectly normal process and must be accepted during that time. During this time the controller will adjust to the current condition and charge status of the batteries. It is therefore recommended that all batteries are 100% fully charged before connection using an appropriate battery charger. This may significantly reduce the evaluation mode time of 7+7 days to much less. The solar panel(s) should be connected to the MPPT charge controller first, followed by the fully charged batteries.

This product is a special order and is non-returnable except in the event of a fault (during its warranty period) when the product, once returned will be repaired or replaced. The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate.
