For those requiring more light output or for taller flag poles this fixture is often the perfect solution. Supplied complete with a solar panel available in a choice of sizes. Optional ground spike and pole mount clamp kits, if required, are available. Prices from $299.99.
The U.S. Code states that: "It is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flag staffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness." This heavy duty flag pole light has 108 Cree® LEDs that provide a total of 864 lumens, equal to approximately 100-150 Watts of light, illuminating typically dusk till dawn in ideal conditions. The light has an on/off switch, which when in the on position automatically activates at dusk and turns off at sunrise. This kit also consists of your choice of a 10, 14, or 20 Watt aluminum framed solar panel that can be installed up to 9 feet away from the light fixture. Attached to the light fixture and solar panel are u-shaped swivel brackets to allow installation on to any solid flat, vertical or horizontal surface. Additional hardware can be purchased for pole mounting the solar panel and/or the light (FL12 and/or FL13). If you intend to mount the solar panel and/or the light fixture directly on the flag pole then you should purchase the optional pole mount hardware. This fixture can illuminate a flag pole up to about 30-35’.
This solar powered fixture is ideal for lighting up flag poles so there is no longer the need to lower your flag at dusk any more. You can install the light and panel at the bottom of the flag pole, or for better results you can purchase our clamp kits to attach the solar panel and lamp to the pole, closer to the flag. Perfect for use where electricity is unavailable or too expensive or difficult to install.
We offer a 10 Watt, 14 Watt or 20 Watt solar panel with this product. The higher the wattage of the solar panel, the more likely you are to get the maximum illumination time. A higher wattage panel does not extend the maximum amount of time the light will stay on for, and it will not make the light brighter. Higher wattage solar panels are also better for locations where there is limited sunshine. Select a lower wattage solar panel for applications where illumination duration is not critical or where the light will only be used upon demand or for less lengthy duration.

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge. Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice. Descriptions, specifications and photographs are updated regularly but may not be current when minor changes to a product have only recently been made.
