This highly powerful solar street light light is supplied with a choice of a 35W, 65W, 100W, or 135W LED lamp capable of producing from around 3,570 lumens up to as much as 14,280 lumens. This makes it probably the most powerful solar powered fixture of its kind on the market today. The LED luminaire is fitted with multiple, modular, high output Philips Luxeon® T LEDs. It can be supplied with a Type I, II, III, IV or V lighting distribution pattern. The low profile luminaire attaches to a support arm that fixes to a pole. The light pole is not included. The system is supplied with a metal lockable battery box, which is installed at the bottom of the pole. We offer AGM or Gel type batteries with a range of capacity from 50Ah up to 245Ah. Two batteries are required per system, lighting systems are 24V. The system is controlled by a highly sophisticated programmable MPPT control module. The light will come on automatically at sunset and will run until dawn or will stay illuminated for a set amount of time. The control module light operation can be customized to suite a variety of applications. Common options include dusk to dawn (subject to model selected), or operations for a set number of hours after sunset (from 1 to 12 hours) then turn off (or dim*) with the option of switching back on for a chosen amount of hours before dawn. *Optional dimming is also available which allows the light output to be reduced by a fraction instead of completely turned off during the middle of the night.. Please note: Upon installation and power-up the controller goes into a 7 day evaluation mode where smart monitoring and configurations commence. Additional evaluation with self-managing adjustments may continue for up to 7 more days. During this time some of its programmed features may differ temporarily. This is a perfectly normal process and must be accepted during that time. During this time the controller will adjust to the current condition and charge status of the batteries. The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter.
