This landscape light system comprises of ten or up to twenty compact mini spotlights containing three super bright 1W LEDs providing an approximate 60 degree beam spread. The light fixtures are available with white, or RGB (multi-color) LEDs. The RGB version is supplied with a remote control and offers 16 different static colors, and color changing modes. This system is designed to typically operate from 14 to 7 hours each night, depending on the amount of lights used on the system. The kit is supplied with the light fixtures, a metal battery box, a programmable charge controller, a 180 Watt solar panel, and two 12 Volt rechargeable batteries. For installations in locations that experience harsh winter weather, or low sun levels, a higher powered solar panel and/or an MPPT charge controller may be required. The battery box can be locked with a padlock (not supplied), and is fitted with outlets for the lamps and solar panel to easily connect to. An on/off switch is supplied, when left in the on position the system will automatically turn on at sunset and illuminate until the programmed amount of time. The programmable control module can be set to illuminate for a selected number of hours after sunset (from 1 to 12 hours) or it can be set to run from dusk until dawn. A MPPT charge controller can be purchased as an optional upgrade. The MPPT charge controller provides 30% more charging power, and advanced light control options. The solar panel and light fixtures are supplied with several feet of cable so that they can be installed a distance away from the battery box if required. Color of light fixture is black. Color of other parts of the system is gray. Color of light output is white, or RGB.

The battery box also houses the PCB controller.

This system includes a programmable control module which regulates and manages the solar panel power, battery power, and illumination time.

User or installer can set the control module to run from dusk and then shut off after a certain amount of hours.
Default setting is typically dusk to dawn.
Instructions are supplied should the user or installer need to program or re-program the module*.

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and usually set facing South at an appropriate angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
