These rechargeable batteries are designed for the more demanding solar light or when the best performance is required out of a solar light fixture that has a good quality solar panel and accepts AA size batteries. We recommend that solar light batteries are replaced every 1-2 years or as found necessary. A defective battery is often the cause of a solar light malfunctioning or inefficient performance. We offer these batteries in a choice of different capacities and all are rated at 1.2 volts. Please make your selection as to your required capacity type. The higher the capacity the longer the illumination time may be. However this is subject to the solar light fixture being able to charge a higher capacity battery and also subject to there being enough solar energy. Therefore a higher capacity battery is not always the best choice if it will only ever partly charge. These batteries have a reasonable storage life therefore you may wish to consider buying spare batteries with your solar light purchase. The product description or technical specifications will advise the battery type and quantity for each of our products. Otherwise always check the specifications of the original battery in your solar light before ordering. If necessary, click the 'MORE INFO' button found within each product description. Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including geographic location, seasons, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly.
We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours.
