Solar powered lamp posts of around 6' to 7' high are hard to come by so this model is in high demand. Its a traditional styled lamp post made of all aluminum, complete with a decorative glass lampshade. The high quality Siemens solar panels are discretely fixed flush into the top of the lampshade so they remain unobtrusive. This fixture will provide a white light output via a 20 super bright LED bulbs (equal to about 15-20 watts of light). Illuminating automatically at dusk, for up to 8 hours each night. Don't be confused with other solar lights which have fewer LED bulbs and emit less light. Installation is quite simple as the base of this fixture includes three pre-drilled holes for securing to any existing flat, solid surface such as concrete, wood or asphalt. Bolt it down or screw it down. The pole is supplied in 3 sections and the lampshade fits on top. This solar lamp post light is sold complete, as shown. The base of the fixture has three holes pre-drilled to enable it to be secured down onto any solid level surface.
If fixing to an existing solid surface (such as wood, concrete, asphalt etc) you will need to use 3 appropriately sized screws or bolts (not included) along with appropriate anchors, if necessary.
An electric drill with masonary bit, small wrench and screwdriver will be minimum tools required. Assembly and installation by one person is sufficient and would normally take about 15 minutes to complete with nominal DIY competence.

This light fixture requires several hours of full sunshine daily to enable it to get a full charge in optimum conditions and in an optimum geographic location.
Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly.

Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor, UV levels are low and the days are shorter.
