This huge pedestal light is a great new addition to our collection and becomes part of our Balmoral collection of larger sized solar light fixtures. It's made uniquely and exclusively by Solar Illuminations and not available anywhere else. This fixture is the largest solar light of its kind and its the most powerful too. This fairly traditional looking, all aluminum fixture, has a vandal resistant, clear polycarbonate lampshade and the solar panel discretely built into the top of the fixture. It's made uniquely and exclusively for Solar Illuminations and not available anywhere else. Standing about 26" high, with about a 14" diameter lampshade, this lamp is perfect for use in a wide variety of applications, residential, commercial or public area use. Perfect for installing at a driveway entrance up on brick pillars or on stone columns. Great for fixing on the top of a wall or fence post. No electricity required therefore you have the options to install it almost anywhere where it can be accomodated. Inside the clear, vandal resistant, polycarbonate lampshade there are 51 Cree® LED bulbs which never need replacing. The light output is equal to about 75 watts of coventional lighting. When installed in a completely dark location the light spread can be seen for several feet on the ground all around the fixture. Installation is easy as this pedestal lamp will simply bolt or screw down onto any solid, level, horizontal surface. We also offer matching 'Balmoral' solar lights in the same 'Balmoral' series. For less favorable conditions, northern locations or for thos wanting the maximum performance from this fixture we do offer a pair of auxiliary solar panels for this product. They are available as an optional extra as model number SP01. They are designed to plug into the auxiliary jack that is near the base of this fixture and thereby doubling the solar panel wattage to 20 Watts total. Color of fixture is black. Color of light output is white.

Use of an auxiliary solar panel (available as an optional extra, see product SP01) may be required for some geographic locations and/or during winter weather to aid charging.
Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly.
We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours.
Minor errors & omissions must be accepted.
Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice.
Descriptions, specifications and photographs are updated regularly but may not be current when minor changes to a product have only recently been made.
All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the fixture as being defective or 'not as described'.
Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. This does not define the fixture as being defective or 'not as described'.
