This is a totally unique fixture and it's only available from Solar Illuminations. It attaches to a 3" diameter round post or round pole making it an ideal fixture for retro-fitting. This type of solar light fixture is very difficult to locate so that is why Solar Illuminations designed its own version and it is available exclusively here. This solar powered light fixture comprises of a lampshade that has been designed specifically to fix to the top of a regular, existing 3" diameter pole or post. It is not small in size like most solar lights so it should look in proportion with your existing pole. You now therefore have the opportunity to replace (retro-fit) your old gas light or electric light with a solar powered version, simply and economically without the need to replace any electrical wiring. This cast aluminum solar post/pole top light is fitted with 20 super bright LED bulbs which never needs to be replaced and provide an output of approximately 15-20 watts. Don't be confused with other solar lights which have fewer LED bulbs and emit less light. Easy to install. The solar panels are built into the top of the fixture so they remain quite discreet. The light will automatically illuminate when it gets dark. It has four clear glass sides. This fixture is part of our Regency collection of lights to compliment our PO01 Regency lamp post, our WL01 Regency wall light and our PL06 Regency pillar/column/pedestal light, all of which are available in this same collection. Color of light output is white. Color of fixture is available in a choice of either black or white.

This light fixture requires several hours of full sunshine daily to enable it to get a full charge in optimum conditions and in an optimum geographic location.
Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly.

Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor, UV levels are low and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. This does not define the fixture as being defective or 'not as described'.
