You and Solar Illuminations agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to these T.&C. or this site must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action arose; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred. The section titles in these T.&C. are solely used for the convenience of the parties and have no legal or contractual significance.
For the purpose of internet law jurisdiction, outside of the State of Florida but within the USA, Solar Illuminations does not: conduct 'paid' advertising, through non-internet media; have any sales representatives or agents; specifically market any of its products to any particular US State; utilize the services of any manufacturer or supplier; use any computer server other than the service provided by A.A.A. in Colorado.
Solar Illuminations takes chargebacks from the credit card industry seriously and makes every effort to comply with the rules and regulations set out by the credit card provider, banking institutions and the FCBA. However, a chargeback does not give the right for a cardholder to fail to comply with any terms, conditions or policies to which were agreed to. Although we receive a few chargebacks annually, the majority are successfully defended. The costs associated with defending a chargeback are passed directly back to the cardholder. In the event of chargeback (credit card charge reversal) being successfully defended by Solar Illuminations, the customer accepts and agrees to being charged a minimum $100.00, (depending upon the complexity of the case) to cover the costs charged to us by our bank, administration and (if applicable) all attorney's fees, expenses and associated costs. In the event that the chargeback claim is taken to tribunal, the customer accepts and agrees to being charged a minimum $1000 (depending upon the complexity of the case) to cover the costs charged to us by our bank, the credit card issuer and (if applicable) all attorney's fees, expenses and associated costs. In the event of litigation bought against Solar Illuminations for whatever reason, if successfully defended, the customer accepts and agrees to pay for all attorney's fees, court fees, postage, travel and all other associated costs and expenses.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'ORDER' or 'CHECKOUT NOW' and you will be asked for a few necessary details to complete the order. Within days your order will be delivered to your door. Please be sure to read the PRODUCT descriptions carefully as we may place a stock notice that informs customers of limited stock or out-of-stock information. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover card payments. We also accept Paypal which offers a large variety of payment methods including all major credit, debit and charge cards. If you are shopping from outside North America, place your order on-line and your credit card company will convert the transaction from US Dollars to your own currency. This conversion should clearly be shown on you credit card statement. Please call for more information on this procedure. We reserve the right to refuse to process a purchase order if it does not meet our requirements. We also reserve the right to request a specific payment method be used. Orders placed by bank wire transfer will only ship once payment, in full, has arrived at our bank. Orders placed by check will only ship once the check is received and cleared at our bank.
(B) ORDERING ON-LINE
We strive to make it as easy as possible for you to order online. When shopping, simply add PRODUCTS to your Shopping Cart from any product page, select appropriate quantities and then check-out. During the shopping process you may press the CHECKOUT button at the top of the page to view the items in the shopping cart and make any adjustments right up until the checkout pages. The following provides detailed instructions on how to order on-line. To begin your shopping experience, click 'PRODUCTS' in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. From this main PRODUCT directory, you can browse through any category you choose by clicking on the category name. To learn about a specific product in detail, simply click on the PRODUCT. You can also search for a particular PRODUCT by name or category using our search function. If you need more information or technical details about any of our PRODUCTS simply click on 'MORE' to get a pop-up window which often shows additional pictures. The PRODUCT description page contains all the information you need to order an item. To add an item to your order, select the 'ADD TO CART' . The selected item will appear with the option to select the quantity, confirm, cancel or checkout now. If you wish to continue shopping then select the appropriate quantity then click 'CONFIRM' and you will automatically be taken back to the original PRODUCT catalog page. If you wish to cancel your selection then click 'CANCEL' and you will automatically be taken back to the original PRODUCT catalog page. At any point thereafter, you may click on 'CHECKOUT' at the top of the page to view the shopping cart and make any adjustments. Finally you are advised that you are being redirected to the secure site of Authorize.Net to enter your credit card details, click 'NEXT' and the Authorize.Net site will show your details pre-inserted. Simply add your credit card number and expiry date and click 'SUBMIT'. You will get confirmation of the authorized transaction and the option of printing a receipt. Once complete you are automatically returned to our web site. Usually you will receive an email confirmation from us about your order. At all times, please make sure all the information you are entering is correct and without typo errors/spelling mistakes. Please note, if paying by Paypal then once this payment method has been selected at the checkout page you will be taken to the secure site of Paypal. There you will need to enter your email address to log onto your Paypal account. We reserve the right to refuse to process a purchase order if it does not meet our requirements. (C) ORDERING OFF-LINE & TELEPHONE ORDERS
We do not usually accept orders from the general public, other than those placed here on our web site. Government and State departments, schools, colleges, institutions, municpalities and such like, may submit an official purchase order to us, by fax, mail or email. The purchase order must include full details of the PRODUCT required, quantity required, shipping and billing address details and points of contact. We reserve the right to refuse to process a purchase order if it does not meet our requirements. We also reserve the right to request a specific payment method be used. This may also apply to large quantity orders and/or high value orders and/or orders containing a specific type of product.
(D) INCOMING WIRE TRANSFER FEE
There is a $25.00 charge to accept an incoming wire transfer (bank to bank payment or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T)) for both domestic and international incoming wires. Should an outgoing wire transfer be required (in the event of any refund or overpayment etc) a $50.00 fee is payable for all international payments sent and a $25.00 fee for all domestic wire transfers sent. This amount will be deducted from the transfered amount and will therefore reduce the amount of the refund received.
(E) CUSTOMER'S SHIPPING ACCOUNT
We do not usually allow customer arranged shipping unless agreed otherwise. We will apply a minimum $10.00 handling charge for any order that is shipped via the customers shipping account or shipping company and acceptance is at the discretion of Solar Illuminations. This fee may increase for larger orders or for multiple package shipments. Additional fees will apply for packaging, handling and preparation of the order. A charge is applied for the supply and use of any pallets required to ship an order securely.
(F) CANCELLATION FEES
We reserve the right to apply a 10% cancellation fee to any order that is cancelled prior to shipping. Cancellation of an order after shipping will attract a 20% cancellation fee or our 25% restocking fee, as applicable. We will not be responsible for inbound or outbound shipping costs, upon cancellation, after an order has shipped.
(G) SALES PRICES, PRICE REVISIONS, DISCOUNT CODES & COUPON CODES
If you have a valid Discount Code or Coupon Code it must be entered correctly during the checkout process. The Code will be case sensitive. The code may also have a minimum spend value (in US$). The Code may have a one-time-use. The Code may have a specific start date and/or end date. The Code may have a specific start time and/or end time. The Code may apply a specific monetary discount (in US$) or a discount by percentage off monetary value. No more than one Code can be used per order. If a valid Code is entered it will be immediately deducted from your order value and displayed during the checkout process. Please check to make sure the Code was accepted before continuing to complete your order. If the Code was not accepted a message will appear to explain and no discount will apply. Please note, Discount Codes and Coupon Codes cannot be applied to any order after an order is completed (sorry no exceptions). Discount Codes and Coupon Codes cannot be applied after an order is completed by requesting a refund equal to the same amount (sorry no exceptions).If you are experiencing any difficulty trying to enter a valid Discount Code or Coupon Code then we suggest you contact us for assistance before completing your order. Solar Illuminations reserves the right to revise or terminate any Discount Code or Coupon Code at any time, without notice. If a PRODUCT goes on sale we are unable to refund the difference between the sale price and the pre-sale price for any order that was placed prior to the PRODUCT going on sale. Solar Illuminations reserves the right to revise sales prices, withdraw a sale price or place a PRODUCT on sale at any time, without notice. The price of a PRODUCT may increase or decrease at any time. We are unable to refund the difference between the original price and the new price (if a price reduction applied) after an ORDER has been placed and paid for.
(H) CHECK & BANK WIRE TRANSFER PAYMENTS
If you wish to pay by check please complete the on-line ordering process and check-out by selecting the 'check' payment method. You will be shown your receipt for the order which you can print off. When mailing in your check please do so within 7 days (from date of order) and ensure that your 14 digit order/invoice number is written on the check. Please allow appropriate mailing time for your check to arrive with us and then at least 10 business days for check clearance before we can begin processing your order. If we do not receive your check within 14 days (from date of order) we will cancel the order. Accepting a check payment is entirely at the discretion of Solar Illuminations. In the event of a check payment being made to Solar Illuminations and subsequently the check is dishonored or returned by our bank for any reason we will apply, under Florida Bad Check Laws the following service charges: $25 if face value does not exceed $50; $30 if the face value exceeds $50 but does not exceed $300; $40 if the face value exceeds $300 or 5% of the face value of the check, which ever is greater. These charges will be payable in addition to the debt and to any further legal charges and interest that may be applied. We reserve the right to refuse a check payment from any customer without providing a reason. If previous problems were experienced with any customer we will insist upon an alternative payment method. We also reserve the right to allow up to 30 business days (and in all circumstances a minimum of 14 business days) for any check to clear the banking process. Should additional security measures be required, then additional check clearance time may be added. An order will not ship until the check payment is cleared, no matter what shipping method is selected. We therefore do not recommend air shipping for orders paid by check. We do not accept checks drawn from any non-US bank.
(I) ACCOUNTS & CREDIT TERMS
The opening of a credit account or invoicing with Net 30 day terms is entirely at the discretion of Solar Illuminations. Such terms are rarely made available and may be withdrawn at any time, without notice. Any invoice that is overdue will be subject to a 5% late fee and interest will be charged at 20% of the outstanding balance, without notice and with no exceptions. Delinquent accounts will be passed to a collection agency and/or to Lee County small claims court. We do not offer prompt payment or early settlement terms.
Shipping or delivery charges are based on merchandise total only for each delivery address. We usually ship all domestic orders via UPS Ground. We usually process orders within 5 business days but typically in just 1-2 business days (subject to the product being available). Large orders or complex orders may take additional time. You can choose to upgrade to UPS Three Day Select, Second Day Air or Next Day Air. If you select one of this faster 'air' shipping services, your order (provided it is in stock) will usually ship from our warehouse as quickly as possible and take priority over Ground service orders. We will not be held responsible in any way for any unforeseen delays in the shipping process and we do not guarantee a delivery date regardless of the shipping service used. We do try and prioritize next day air, second day air and three day select respectively although the shipping date can be affected by the time of the day or day of the week that your order arrives with us. We may need to verify your details for credit card fraud prevention purposes and this may delay shipping. When calculating delivery dates usually the date of dispatch is not included in the shipping time and the estimated date of delivery is subject to the actual date of dispatch. Refer to your email from UPS with the tracking number for further information as it will provide an estimated delivery date. Many of our shipments are sent with a signature required. This helps prevent mail order fraud, credit card fraud and theft of unattended parcels. You may be required to be at the delivery address on the day of delivery. This email may be sent to you automatically via UPS once your shipment leaves our warehouse (provided you have supplied us with a valid email address). Regardelss of reason, if a delivery is refused or an order is cancelled after it has shipped, then our re-stocking fee will apply, the original shipping costs will not be refundable and the return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund. For orders that require re-shipment, the shipping costs will be chargeable again. For UPS interception of a parcel (where available) and for address modifications a fee will be charged for this service. Sometimes, when using an air service, additional charges will occur due to the dimensions of the package. It is not just the weight of an order but often the dimensions of the complete carton that calculate the cost of air shipping. Most of our international orders are shipped via UPS or USPS (US Postal Service). The service provided, depending upon the country of destination, usually offers delivery within approximately 10 business days from the date the order is processed. Where shipping costs allow, insurance is purchased to cover against loss or damage. From time-to-time the shipping cost provided at the web site may be less than the actual cost. In these circumstances if the cost is considerably higher, then the customer will be required to pay the additional costs. Delivery calculations should only include business days (Monday to Friday) and exclude all USA public holidays and public holidays in the destination country. We reserve the right to use an alternative shipping company or courier where necessary and/or when a large volume of cargo (by weight and/or dimensions) is being shipped. For shipments of large volume and/or weight the cargo may be placed on one or more pallets. For large, heavy or pallet shipments we usually use UPS Freight for domestic freight shipping or another trucking company that we choose to appoint. For cargo received in bulk, or on pallets, and for all street light purchases, it is important that you check and inspect all items at time of delivery because, once signed for, unfortunately Solar Illuminations or the appointing shipping company, does not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or shortages once signed for. Sorry...no exceptions, no excuses. A delivery attempt is made once only, by UPS Freight. If delivery cannot be accepted on the first attempt the second and subsequent attempts will be chargeable, by UPS Freight, at their current rate and will be payable by the customer or consignee. Use of the lift gate on the UPS Freight truck is not possible unless agreed prior. This is a chargeable service and is payable in advance. Throughout the months of November & December we are exceptionally busy and any order required in time for Christmas should be made well in advance. We can ship an order to most world-wide destinations. Orders shipped outside of the USA, may attract import taxes, duties and fees applicable to the destination country. Such fees vary (depending upon the value, commodity and origin of your order) and you would have to check with your local tax office. We are not responsible for any shipping delays beyond our control or for any import taxes, duties, fees or charges relating to the delivery of your order or for any problems associated with the legal requirements imposed in the destination country relating to the imported order when shipped outside the USA. If you are paying by check or by PayPal eCheck, then appropriate clearance time must be allowed, regardless of selecting a faster shipping service. If paying by a bank wire transfer/telegraphic transfer, the funds must arrive with our bank before the order can be shipped. If you have a query regarding shipping please email for further assistance. If you selected UPS shipping, then a tracking number may be emailed, by UPS, one time only, to the email address you provided and that tracking number cannot be re-sent. If an email address is invalid, or you have spam/junk mail filters or delete the email, then the tracking number will not be available again or re-sent. Orders not shipped by UPS may not receive a tracking number. Solar Illuminations does not guarantee the supply of a tracking number for any shipment. UPS will usually only attempt up to three deliveries. Usually after a third delivery attempt your shipment will be automatically returned to Solar Illuminations by UPS. If this happens your order will be refunded less our restocking fee and less shipping costs or the order can be shipped back to you again, at your expense. We will not be responsible for inbound or outbound shipping costs, upon cancellation, after an order has shipped. Likewise, we will not refund any shipping costs if a parcel is refused or returned for any reason or if the wrong shipping service was selected during check-out. Shipping is a service provided, and therefore naturally once that service has been provided, it is not refundable. We do not accept customer arranged freight or customer arranged courier collection of any cargo. When you take delivery of your order the contents must be thoroughly checked and inspected immediately. Shortages, errors or damage claims must be reported immediately, upon receipt of the order, by telephone during our business hours. Failure to do so, your order is deemed as being received in perfect order without damage, error or shortage. Failure to report shipping damages, shortages or order errors is entirely the customer's responsibility and no claim will be accepted thereafter, regardless of reasons given. No exceptions. In the event of a product being shipped by Solar Illuminations incorrectly, the problem must be advised immediately and all parts and packaging must be retained. For cargo shipments Solar Illuminations will usually arrange collection of the incorrect order and it must be made available for collection (prepared and packaged in it original condition, ready for safe and secure transit) on a date which will be advised. If the shipment is not made available or not returned it will be chargeable and any costs associated with the attempted collection, will be chargeable to the customer. For standard parcels, usually a pre-paid UPS label will be emailed or mailed for the immediate return of an incorrect product. At our discretion, a replacement product may be shipped which will contain a pre-paid UPS label for the immediate return of an incorrect product. Pre-paid UPS labels are issued once only and if not used within 14 days they will automatically become void, after which return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. All returns of incorrect products must arrived back with Solar Illuminations within 14 days, otherwise it will be deemed that the customer is intending to keep the product. The original product, label costs and all shipping costs associated with the replacement product will then be chargeable. In the event that your order is damaged during shipping this must be noted with the shipping company at time of delivery and reported to Solar Illuminations immediately so that a claim can be filed with the shipping company. The damaged shipment must be held aside to await inspection by the shipping company. All cartons and packaging must be kept intact. When the claim has been completed and approved by the shipping company a replacement part or product will be shipped. Only in certain circumstances and at our discretion will a replacement part or product be shipped before a damage claim has been approved. The time for a claim to be processed by the shipping company can vary and is beyond our control but is typically resolved in 10 days (subject to the nature of the claim and cargo).
CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACK POLICY:
Solar Illuminations takes chargeback's (credit card charge reversals) from the credit card industry seriously and makes every effort to comply with the rules and regulations set out by the credit card issuers, banking institutions and the FCBA. However, Solar Illuminations has a zero tolerance for unjustified, unlawful and ineligible chargeback's. A chargeback does not give the right for a cardholder to fail to comply with any terms, conditions or policies to which a cardholder has agreed to. Although we receive only a few chargeback's annually in relation to our volume of business conducted, the majority are successfully defended. We are aware that there are a growing number of cardholders who regularly chargeback purchases without a valid reason, give frivolous reasons or use a non-factual excuse to start the process with their credit card issuer. Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover require their cardholders to contact the merchant first, in an attempt to resolve a dispute, before commencing a chargeback. In all circumstances, we ask that you first contact us, so that we can be given an opportunity to investigate a charge, before you call your credit card issuer to start a chargeback. Customers who cannot comply with our Terms, Conditions or Policies should not agree at the outset. Subsequent non-agreement or subsequent non-compliance (for whatever reason) does not constitute an automatic right to commence a chargeback. All customers shopping at this web site must agree to our Terms, Conditions & Policies and enter their initials during the check-out process to positively acknowledge and agree to such. The costs associated with defending a chargeback and no longer being absorbed by Solar Illuminations. To prevent raising our product prices to cover chargeback losses (which would be unfair to the vast majority of our customers who are more than happy with their purchase) the costs associated with a chargeback are passed directly back to the cardholder. In the event of a chargeback being successfully defended by Solar Illuminations, the customer accepts and agrees to being charged a minimum $100, (depending upon the complexity of the case) to cover the costs charged to us by our bank, administration costs and (if applicable) all attorney's fees, expenses and associated costs. In the event that the chargeback claim is taken to tribunal, the customer accepts and agrees to being charged a minimum $1000 (depending upon the complexity of the case) to cover the costs charged to us by our bank, the credit card issuer and (if applicable) all attorney's fees, expenses and associated costs. In the event of litigation bought against Solar Illuminations for whatever reason, if successfully defended, the customer accepts and agrees to pay for all attorney's fees, court fees, postage, travel and all other associated costs and expenses. We will invoice these charges pursue any unpaid invoice accordingly. All cardholders have the legal right to commence a chargeback in accordance with the FCBA and we do not deny that right. All merchants have the legal right to defend and reverse a chargeback and go to tribunal. Solar Illuminations has the legal right to charge a customer for any losses occurred in connection with successfully defending a chargeback or winning an arbitration case. This policy is made available to all potential customers prior to making their purchase and it is also displayed throughout the checkout process when ordering from this web site. It is also displayed on the page where a customer enters their initials to agree to have acknowledged and accepted our Terms, Conditions & Policies (including this Chargeback Policy) thereby an order cannot be successfully placed at this web site without entering such agreement.
BACK ORDER POLICY:
It is unusual if your all of your order is not in stock. We do hold large volume of products, but sometimes we do sell out of some of the most popular lines. We usually insert an 'Out-of-Stock' or 'New Product' notice within the product description at the web site or we insert a notice to advise of a delay or expected date of arrival to our warehouse. Please ensure that you carefully read the product descriptions to see if there is a stock notice in place. If your item is not in stock, and you proceed to place and pay for an order, we will back order the shipment for you. Your order will ship to you as soon as it arrives in stock. All orders placed a charged to the credit card you supply at real time whether the item is in stock or out-of-stock. The web site catalog is not connected to a stock level system. If you place and pay for an order for items that are not in stock then your order takes priority over any other order received by us by telephone as it has been pre-paid. If an appropriate notice of stock situation has been displayed at our web site in the product description but an order is still placed, it is not refundable just because the stock notice was not read or fully understood. However if the stock notice was inaccurate (the waiting time became longer than stated by more than 7 business days) then a refund will be available, if required, should you then decide to wait no longer and cancel the order. We reserve the right to apply a 10% cancellation fee to any order that is cancelled prior to shipping. Cancellation of an order after shipping will attract a 20% cancellation fee or our 25% restocking fee, as applicable. We will not be responsible for inbound or outbound shipping costs, upon cancellation, after an order has shipped.
SALES TAX POLICY:
All purchases at our showroom are subject to sales tax. Also sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of Florida at the current rate of 6%. Sales tax charged on orders sent within the State of Florida is calculated on your merchandise total. If you are reselling our products in the State of Florida, or your have a valid exemption certificate please ensure that you supply a signed copy of your certificate by fax or by mail. Failure to do so will result in sales tax being charged and this will not subsequently be refundable. For export shipments, leaving the State of Florida, an endorsed copy of the Bill of Lading is required to prove the export and to enable Florida sales tax to be refunded or not to be charged at the outset.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY POLICY:
Solar Illuminations does not record or store your credit card details. Instead we use the services of one of the top payment gateway service providers called AuthorizeNet. Once you have made your selections at our web site and have entered your name and address details you will be sent to a special 'secure' payment page. You will see a small gold padlock in the lower right corner of your browser to confirm that you are in a secure area. The payments page that you are transferred to is at AuthorizeNet. Here, credit card information uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. They encrypt your personal information, such as your credit card number, when transmitting over the Internet using SSL. SSL renders information unreadable should anyone try to intercept it. We use the payment gateway services of Authorize.Net to deal with the payment processing in the most secure manner. We are confident that the service they provide ensures the ultimate security. This is a highly reputable and established provider of services and when you are transferred to their web site for entering your credit card details you can be assured that the highest levels of security are in place. As your credit card details are never supplied to us by AuthorizeNet, in the event of a refund you will need to contact us by telephone to provide the originally provided credit card details to enable such a transaction. All our PRODUCTS are supplied with a minimum 12 month limited warranty (from date of purchase) excluding all halogen light bulbs and all batteries. The majority of our solar sign and billboard light systems have a 5 year limited warranty (as from April 1st 2013) and the majority of our solar panels have a 10 year limited warranty (as from April 1st 2013). Check the PRODUCT specifications for warranty information. Limited warranty coverage applies to manufacturing defects only. Warranty coverage does not apply to (and not limited to) the following: PRODUCT misuse; an incorrectly installed PRODUCT; lack of sunshine; low insolation; seasons; weather conditions; geographic location issues etc. These are examples of human error, Act of God and/or natural environmental effects which would not be covered by any warranty. In addition, illumination times may vary and is not covered by any warranty as we are unable to guarantee the illumination time of any solar light that we offer. Should a genuine fault develop within the warranty period, the PRODUCT will be repaired or replaced at our discretion (after inspection and testing) and in accordance with our Terms, Conditions and Policies. The warranty does not cover weathering, corrosion, residue, surface scratches, fading or discoloration of any surface or finish. Also the warranty does not cover theft, vandalism, damage or destruction (accidental or deliberate), wind, lightning, ice, snow, storm or any other weather related conditions or Act of God etc. No warranty is provided for any light bulbs or any batteries unless provided by the manufacturer and in such instances, any claim would be directly with the manufacturer. Valid, written proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Without proof of purchase warranty coverage will be denied, no exceptions. For PRODUCTS that use multiple LED's or SMD's we do not define the PRODUCT as being defective unless more than 5% of the LED's or SMD's fail to illuminate. The limited warranty is null & void if a PRODUCT has been altered or damaged due to normal wear & tear, abuse, improper maintenance, liquid ingression, improper use, disassembly of parts and/or attempted repair, modification or alteration.

At Solar Illuminations, protecting your information is a priority. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt your credit card number, name and address, so only Solar Illuminations is able to decode your information. If you see an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser), the SSL is active and your information is secure. The final stage of the check-out process is your payment by credit card. At this stage you are automatically transferred to a secure site with Auhtorize.Net. This is where the security of the data you enter is at its highest.
Within 14 days (from date of invoice), a PRODUCT may be returned for exchange (or for refund where permitted) subject to the PRODUCT being in its new and unused condition. It must be 100% complete with all parts, instructions and undamaged packaging, exactly as originally supplied, and so that it is fit for resale. Sorry but we are unable to refund or exchange 'used' or 'installed' PRODUCTS. All returns must be pre-authorized (please call us for an RMA number and return instructions). The return must be received within 14 days of being authorized and we recommend that appropriate shipping insurance is obtained because we are not responsible for any loss or damage of a PRODUCT being returned. Except for warranty claims, failure to request a return after 14 days (from date of invoice) will be deemed to be permanent acceptance of the PRODUCT. Do not attempt to return a PRODUCT without a valid RMA number clearly displayed on the shipping carton as it will not be accepted and will result in being returned to the sender at the sender's expense. All returns must be shipped in a separate, appropriate shipping carton with suitable packing materials to avoid damage. A PRODUCT shown at our web site identified in the specifications or elsewhere as "Special Order" or "Non-Returnable" or "Non-Refundable" cannot be returned for refund including (but not limited to) all Christmas light strings, light bulbs and batteries.
Shipping costs are not refundable and Solar Illuminations does not arrange or pay for shipping of any PRODUCT being returned unless we have shipped an incorrect PRODUCT, in error, then we will arrange for pre-paid return shipping. For warranty repairs. a technician fee may apply for inspection, handling, return shipping of a PRODUCT that is returned reported as 'faulty' but has no faults found. Shipping costs to/from an international address are the responsibility of the customer regardless of the reason for the return. If a PRODUCT is found to be faulty within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced, at our discretion. New and unused returns that are approved to be refunded are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The restocking fee applies to shipments that have been refused, shipments that have not be delivered and orders that have been cancelled after being shipped. Refunds are usually processed within 14 business days from the date returned. Solar Illuminations reserves the right to refuse any non-compliant return and ship the PRODUCT back to the customer (at the customer's expense) thereby refusing the repair, replacement, exchange or refund, where the customer has failed to comply with our Terms, Conditions and Policies. We are not responsible in any way, financially or otherwise, for the installation and/or re-installation of any PRODUCT or any other consequential loss.
If a product is supplied with a manufacturer's warranty, then you may be required to contact the manufacturer directly, in the event of any problem. You will need to follow the manufacturer's procedures regarding any warranty claim. A limited amount of PRODUCTS offered, are non-returnable, such as (but not limited to) special orders, batteries, light bulbs, spare parts, Christmas LED string lights, solar panels, street lights etc. These PRODUCTS are 'all sales final' and are not eligible to be returned for refund and can only be returned if the PRODUCT is defective which (if under warranty), upon inspection & testing is found to be defective, the PRODUCT will be repaired or replaced (at our discretion) with an identical PRODUCT.
