Offered exclusively by Solar Illuminations this unique, solar powered, LED wall light is fitted with 33 super bright LED's, which never need replacement. Designed for wall mounting, this fixture is fitted with a pull cord to turn it on and off. It is also fitted with a tiny photocell (light sensor) so that it can automatically illuminate at night time for up to several hours continuously. It can be installed indoors or outdoors so it can be used for numerous applications. Clear plastic lampshade. The light output is capable of illuminating a room or area up to approximately 13' x 13' (4m x 4m) and is equal to approximately 40w of regular lighting. A choice of solar panel is available allowing use in many different geographic locations. Select an appropriate solar panel depending upon geographic location and typical usage required from the fixture. The solar panel can be installed outside, in a location up to several feet away from the light fixture. An optional extension cord is available if the solar panel must be located at some distance away from the light fixture (product code RC01). It's great for use when there is a power outage, for camping, fishing and other outdoor night time activities as well as for use in sheds, buildings, cabins and remote locations where there is no electricity or in third world countries. Select a solar panel suited for your application, typical usage and/or geographic location. Generally, for use now and again (switching it on and off as and when needed) or for really sunny climates, a 5 watt or 6 watt solar panel is acceptable. For more demanding applications, long illumination times and contant use, a 7 watt or 10 watt solar panel may be more ideal. Naturally, the solar panel wattage has no effect on the illumination output of this fixture. Color of light output is white. Color of fixture is gray/tan.
