Solar Illuminations own designed accessory. This kit consists of a unique, heavy duty steel clamp which is suitable for fixing to a vertical or horizontal surface or to a round pole or round post. It can also be used to fix to almost any flat surface (horizontal or vertical) or possibly to a square sided post. Once secured, this clamp will enable either a 6w, 7w, 10w, 14w, 20w or 30w solar panel to attach to it. These are the solar panels that we offer with our FL05, FL06 and FL10 floodlight fixtures. If you intend to use this clamp to attach one of our solar panels to a round pole such as a flag pole, it willl fit a pole from approximately 3" diameter up to approximately 5 1/2" diameter. Easy to install. Simply adjust the clamp around the pole and tighten the four nuts & bolts. If you have a pole of larger diameter, this clamp can still be used but surface mounted directly to the pole and screwed or bolted into place. For installation to a vertical or horizontal surface simply discard the round back-plate of the clamp and screw or bolt the flat side of the mounting plate to your surface. The solar panel attachment piece is adjustable so it can accept the different width of a solar panel. It also has a locking pivot joint so that the solar panel can be adjusted to it most suitable angle (typically around 45 degrees). Perfect for flag pole lighting as the solar panel can be securely mounted almost anywhere on the flag pole. Color of clamp is black.
