This, heavy duty, commercial grade, multi-purpose floodlight is made by Solar Illuminations and has 120 hyper-bright SMD type LED light bulbs which provide a light output of 960 Lumens (equal to about 200 watts). Fully automatic activation (on at dusk and off at dawn). For wall mounting or ground mounting. The solar panel can be situated next to the light fixture or at a distance of up to several feet away. The rechargeable batteries supplied are contained inside the remote battery box and only need replacing every year or two. Ideal for lighting up pathways, driveways, walkways for convenience and security lighting. Can also be used to light up signs, notice boards, entrance areas etc for commercial or residential applications. Use in the garden to illuminate trees, shrubs, ornaments or uplight walls and highlight buildings or architectural features. Great for lighting up flag poles so there is no longer the need to lower your flag at dusk any more. Perfect for use where electricity is unavailable such as in or around barns, outbuildings, sheds, arenas etc. Use for animal and livestock areas to assist feeding and maintenance. May be used as a portable light. Quick and easy permanent installation. Solar cell panel can be located up to several feet away to enable better sunlight capture when using in shady areas. If required, a long support arm is available as an option extra for this system (see product FL11) allowing the floodlight to be mounted out in front of a sign or billboard for enhanced illumination coverage. The fixture incorporates a main light body consisting of 120 hyper-bright SMD/LED bulbs (made by Cree®) and angle/tilt adjustment with the attached support bracket. This light provides an output equal to that of about 200 watts of incandescent light. The LED's typically last for 22 years so there are no bulb changes. This fixture can be directly fixed to a round post or pole using our optional clamp attachment kit (product code FL12). This floodlight fixture can light up an open area up to approximately 40'x40' and maybe beyond. Naturally, the darker the location the more effective and noticeable the illumination will be. Should be suitable for illuminating a medium sized sign depending upon the location of the fixture and/or sign. We offer an optional long support arm kit for this system (product code FL11) allowing each floodlight to be mounted out in front of a sign or billboard for enhanced illumination coverage. The floodlight fixture is supplied with a U shape mounting bracket which will also allow for vertical adjustment of the light beam spread.

An optional long, steel support arm is available to enable (optional) attachment of the floodlight to a surface so that the illumination pattern can be projected back (upwards or downwards) towards a surface such as a sign or billboard.
As this product has a wide variety of uses and can be used for many different applications, you may find it necessary to use other parts, that are not included, to aid installation for your particular situation. For example, you may wish to fix the fixture or solar panel to a pole (we do not include a pole) and therefore you will need to provide the necessary adaption to enable fixing to a pole and the pole itself. Another example, you may wish to bolt the fixture to the ground. You would then need a smooth level surface in place, such as concrete or a concrete slab. You will then need to fix the solar panel nearby and you may wish to make a bracket for the solar panel or some other device to enable its normal operation.
For less straight forward or unusual installations you may need to use your own fixings to accommodate the solar panel and/or the floodlight.

Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly.
We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours.
Minor errors & omissions must be accepted.
Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice.
A higher wattage solar panel is always recommended over a lower wattage as it will be more efficient at recharging the battery and therefore helping to increase the illumination time.
Descriptions, specifications and photographs are updated regularly but may not be current when minor changes to a product have only recently been made.
All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the fixture as being defective.
The required level of illumination for a sign or general area can vary from customer to customer. Each customer may have their own requirements and expectations. Therefore the information provided here shall be used only as a guide. For applications where more intense lighting is required on a sign, or in a general area, more than one fixture may be required. Likewise, for locations where there is already a large amount of ambient lighting, to illuminate a sign or general area more visibly, more intense lighting may be required to overcome the ambient light levels. Therefore more than one fixture may be required.
