This, heavy duty, commercial grade, multi-purpose floodlight system is made by Solar Illuminations. It's totally unique as this system comprises of 4 floodlight fixtures each containing 120 hyper-bright SMD type LED's (made by Cree®) which provide a light output of 960 Lumens each fixture (equal to about 200 watts, each fixture). Fully automatic activation (on at dusk and off at dawn). For wall mounting or ground mounting. Supplied with a very powerful 120 watt solar panel to ensure maximum efficiency and optimum performance. The solar cell panel can be situated next to the light fixtures or at some distance away. A battery box is supplied to facilitate the sealed batteries which are recharged daily via the solar panel. While this system's ultimate design was for sign lighting and billboard lighting it has other purposes too. It can be used for lighting walkways, driveways, small parking lots and for general convenience and security lighting. Can also be used to illuminate trees, uplight walls and highlight buildings or architectural features. Great for lighting up a group of flag poles so there is no longer the need to lower your flag at dusk any more. Perfect for use where electricity is unavailable such as in or around barns, outbuildings, sheds, arenas etc. Use for animal and livestock areas to assist feeding and maintenance. Quick and easy permanent installation. As the solar panel can be located some distance away, this enable better sunlight capture when using the fixtures in shady areas. We offer an optional long support arm kit for this system (product code FL11) allowing each floodlight to be mounted out in front of a sign or billboard for enhanced illumination coverage. Each of these four solar floodlights incorporate a main light body consisting of 120 hyper-bright LED bulbs. That's a total of 480 hyper-bright SMD/LED's. Each floodlight offers angle/tilt adjustment with the attached support bracket. Each fixture provides an output equal to that of about 200 watts of incandescent light. The SMD/LED's typically last for 22 years so there are no bulb changes. This complete floodlight system can light up an open area up to approximately 40'x40' and maybe beyond or a sign up to approximately 36' x 12'. Naturally, the darker the location the more effective and noticeable the illumination will be. Suitable for illuminating a medium to large sized sign depending upon the location of the fixture and/or sign. Naturally there is a limitation with the maximum intensity any solar powered light fixture can provide. This fixture can be directly fixed to a round post or pole using our optional clamp attachment kit (product code FL12). Color of fixture is black. Color of other parts of the system are gray. Color of light output is white.

Long, steel support arms are available (as an optional extra) to enable attachment of the floodlights to a surface so that the illumination pattern cab be projected back (upwards or downwards) towards a surface such as a sign or billboard.
As this product has a wide variety of uses and can be used for many different applications, you may find it necessary to use other parts, that are not included, to aid installation for your particular situation. For example, you may wish to fix the fixture or solar panel to a pole (we do not include a pole) and therefore you will need to provide the necessary adaption to enable fixing to a pole and the pole itself. Another example, you may wish to bolt the fixture to the ground. You would then need a smooth level surface in place, such as concrete or a concrete slab. You will then need to fix the solar panel nearby and you may wish to make a bracket for the solar panel or some other device to enable its normal operation.
For less straight forward or unusual installations you may need to use your own fixings to accommodate the solar panel and/or the floodlight.
Should provide illumination of an open area up to approx. 40' x 40' and maybe beyond to the extent of a 200 watt light fixture.
Should be suitable for illuminating a sign up to approximately 36' x 12' or maybe larger depending upon location of fixture and/or sign to the extent of what 4 x 200 watt output light fixtures can provide.

Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly.
We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours.

All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the fixture as being defective.
The required level of illumination for a sign or general area can vary from customer to customer. Each customer may have their own requirements and expectations. Therefore the information provided here shall be used only as a guide. For applications where more intense lighting is required on a sign, or in a general area, more than one fixture may be required. Likewise, for locations where there is already a large amount of ambient lighting, to illuminate a sign or general area more visibly, more intense lighting may be required to overcome the ambient light levels. Therefore more than one fixture may be required.
