FL03 Solar 24 LED Flag Pole Light

The U.S. Code states that: "It is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flag staffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness." This multi-purpose floodlight is made by Solar Illuminations and has 24 super bright LED light bulbs which provide a light output of 192 Lumens (equal to about 20-30 watts). Fully automatic activation (on at dusk and off at dawn) as well as a switch for manual on/off setting. For wall mounting or ground mounting (supplied with a ground spike kit for optional use). The solar cell panel is detachable and therefore this versatile light fixture can be used indoors or outdoors. The solar cell panel may be located up to 12' away. The battery is contained inside the fixture. Ideal for lighting up flag poles so there is no longer the need to lower your flag at dusk any more. Perfect for use where electricity is unavailable or to difficult to install with the added bonus of no operating costs. The solar cell panel can remain attached to the light fixture main body or it can be detached and located up to 12' away to enable better sunlight capture when using in shady areas. The fixture incorporates a main light body consisting of 24 super bright LED bulbs (made by Cree®) which has horizontal and vertical movement for adjustment and provides a light output equal to that of about 20-30 watts of light. Naturally, the darker the location the more effective and noticeable the illumination will be. The LED's typically last for 22 years so there are no bulb changes. This floodlight fixture, in complete darkness, may light up a flag on a flag pole up to 15'-20' providing a reasonable level of illumination. If you have other background lighting around or lights nearby the effect may be reduced as naturally there is a limitation with the maximum intensity that any solar powered (battery operated) light fixture can provide. This innovative fixture is a very compact, easy to install light fixture to operate for many hours each night.

This product is for light use and suitable more so for residential applications. If you need a more heavy duty fixture, or for commercial applications, you may wish to consider our FL06, FL05, FL09 or FL10 floodlights, which are a higher grade, all alumnum fixture and much more weather resistant.
Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly.
We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours.
Minor errors & omissions must be accepted.
Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice.
Descriptions, specifications and photographs are updated regularly but may not be current when minor changes to a product have only recently been made.
All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the fixture as being defective or 'not as described'.
Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. This does not define the fixture as being defective or 'not as described'.
